I’m thrilled to be taking part in the Kāpiti Coast Art Trail again this year. The trail showcases over 120 artists in studios and shared spaces. Alongside 13 Exhibition Spaces (galleries), over 300 artists are exhibiting this year. Over ten different types of mediums are represented, from painting to jewellery to ceramics and textiles. Many of our artists are award-winning, so we know there will be someone who inspires and delights you on the Trail.
Visiting the studio

I’m currently working on a piece called The Forever Trail – come and see the completed artwork in the studio! This image is a good example of how I’m working at the moment – still largely abstract, but looking for opportunity to add detail and interest with the use of permanent markers over acrylic paint.
Art style: Abstract art, using a mix of water-based mediums including watercolour and acrylic paint. Size of artworks range from A4 – 1.5metres. I also have my art printed on a range of designer goodies.
Studio details:
Parking: some parking outside the house (come up the long drive); otherwise there is parking in the Otaihanga Domain, just across the road.
Festive Seasion Gift Ideas

Some are available in the studio, and some can be ordered online. I recommend all purchases made and orders placed by the end of November. ‘The Breach’ A3 Fine Art Prints
The Breach was the biggest artwork I completed in 2021 and is currently on show in the studio. This diptyche (staged picture shown to the left) is an abstract exploration of sound, song and vibration, featuring some of the hot pinks and teals that make up my signature colour palette. Fine art prints in A3 size are now available – purchase in the set or by themselves! A3 is a great size to gift people – not too small, but not too big that you can’t give it to Santa to deliver anywhere across the globe!
Price: $75 NZD.
Available: Prints are available for purchase in the studio during the Arts Tail, or can be custom ordered through me if you can’t make it during the Arts Trail weekends.
Delivery: If you can’t make it on the Trail, you can still purchase it and have it put aside for you to pick up another time. Otherwise I’m happy to pop it in the post for you,
‘Blue Leaves’ watercolour original on paper
This botanical-inspired watercolor is A3 in size. The frame is not included but the blues and yellows in the colour palette means that the artwork does lend itself very nicely to a classic decorative frame! I think this is one of my favourite artworks completed in 2022, it was completely experimental and I had no idea how it would turn out!
Price: $75 NZD.
Available: This original artwork is available for purchase in the studio during the Arts Tail.
Delivery: If you can’t make it on the Trail, you can still purchase it and have it put aside for you to pick up another time. Otherwise I’m happy to pop it in the post for you,
