‘Need to know’ info for 168 Days of Kapiti Magic 2021
About my Art Studio
My studio is located at 42a Makora Rd, Otaihanga. Come all the way down the drive to find us! My studio will be open from 9am for workshop days. You can also organise to visit at additional times.
There is a small amount of parking at the top of my driveway and on the roadside. Alternate parking can be found in the Otaihanga Domain.
Programme fees are paid when you enrol. Please do this via my website or online by internet banking – please make the bank transfer within three days. If you would like to pay cash, please make a time to come by the studio with your payment in advance of the course starting. I do not accept cheques. If you have not paid your course in full prior to it starting I reserve the right to cancel your enrolment.
The course cost includes the use of a range of paints and paint brushes. You can decide how much you want to spend on extra art supplies and you’re welcome to chat to me about what might be the best approach for you. I generally estimate about $50 but it’s flexible depending on your goals!
Minimum and maximum numbers
I can also only accommodate a certain number of participants in studio-based programmes. If the course is full, you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org to join the waiting list. I’ll contact you if a place comes up.
Withdrawals and Refunds
If I cancel a course, you receive a full refund. If you cancel your enrolment more than 7 days before the course is due to commence, you’ll get an 80% refund. I keep 20% for administration costs. During the week before the course starts, cancellations qualify for a 50% refund only. No cancellation costs are refunded from when the course or programme begins.
Right to Refuse or Cancel Enrolment
I reserve the right to refuse or to cancel the enrolment of any course participant for any reason at any stage of the course. This is to ensure all participants feel happy, safe, are able to relax in my workshops and enjoy the benefits of the programme they have enrolled in.
I email receipts and course instructions to you prior to the programme starting. Please read the information carefully to ensure the details are correct and diary the dates and times. Any additional information or items to bring to the course will be listed on your course instructions. If you have enrolled and not received anything, please contact me.
While I do email out a course reminder as a courtesy, it is solely your responsibility to ensure you attend the programme at the correct time and date.
It would be appreciated if you could advise me in advance by email or text message if you are unable to attend a session.
Please follow the normal Earthquake – “Drop, cover, hold” procedures in any earthquake event.
If you have any special requirements, please let me know in advance so I can make things as easy as possible.
Feedback and Photographs
I like to take photos of studio programmes to create a record of our creative journey. I also ask for feedback throughout my programmes to ensure you are enjoying your experience. I reserve the right to use any feedback or photographs in my marketing and promotional material, including but not limited to, social media and advertising, unless you expressly prohibit me from doing so.
Right to Change Terms & Conditions
I reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any stage and for the changes to take immediate effect.
