About my Mindful Creativity Micro-Workshops
Mindful Creativity aims to help you achieve a sense of peace, connectedness and wellness. Come along to a short summer session here in Kāpiti this January. Explore practical creative exercises, journaling and reflective practices to help you relax and stay connected to your truest self.
Combining mindfulness and creativity is a great way to enhance wellbeing, reduce stress and explore different types of creative expression. In fact, it might be just the tonic you need to thrive in 2022!
These micro-workshops are for you if you’re interested in:
- Taking some time out to enjoy creativity
- Accessing a calm, empowered and inspired state of mind
- Experimenting with painting, with a focus on tropical flowers
- Finding your unique style of expression
- Exploring ways to contemplate your life purpose
These are 90-minute sessions, run under Orange traffic light system and limited to numbers of ten for each group. Vaccine passports are required. Each session includes:
- A 30-minute creativity workshop and painting demonstration
- The opportunity to take part in a mindfulness reflection in the studio gardens
- Time to experiment with your own artwork based on the demonstration provided
- Morning or afternoon tea
Date: 15 January 2022 (3 workshops available: Morning Session (10-11:30am), Early Afternoon Session (1-2:30pm) or Afternoon Session (3-4:30pm).

About my 8-week Mindful Creativity Course
What if everything could be calm, simple, joyful and meaningful?
What if every day you could achieve bliss by knowing your most important goals, by feeling more connected to your spiritual side, feeling like you’re doing important work in the world and being more confident in your vision of the future?
This eight week course on mindful creativity aims to help you achieve a sense of peace, connectedness and wellness. Incorporating practical creative exercises, journaling and reflection activities along with intuitive writing and creative visioning, this is a great foundation course to establish a creative practice that works for you.
Together we’ll explore a range of creative exercises that will include: doodling, drawing, storyboarding, sketching, painting, journaling, intuitive writing and visualisation.
This course culminates in the creation of a ‘soul portrait’ to help you capture, and stay connected, to your truest self.
